Looking for a body? Why, a head is not enough?!

Another proof of "peaceful" intentions of Islam (no, no, please don't give me that - but it is not all Muslims...). When was the last time you heard about any other religion cutting off heads or stoning?
And what about the recent mass killing by a Muslim Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan (a doctor?) at Fort Hood? Only Allah knows, right?! So what kind of environment he must have been growing up in?
Here he is, quoting (NYT 11/7/09): "In the Koran, you are not supposed to have alliances with Jews or Christians or others, and if you are killed in the military fighting against Muslims, you will go to hell!" How uplifting and carrying, how loving and compassionate, how innocent and deep?

Teacher beheaded in Philippines
Police in the southern Philippines say the severed head of kidnapped schoolteacher has been found in a bag at a petrol station.
Gabriel Canizares was abducted by Aby Sayyaf militants three weeks ago - his body is still missing.
He was travelling with colleagues on the island of Jolo when he was seized.
The militants had demanded a ransom equivalent to $42,000 (£25,000) for Mr Canizares, which his family refused to pay.
